News Synopsis

DeHaat, a Patna-based startup has raised $115 million in series D funding led by Sofina and Lightrock India. Founded by Amrendra Singh, Shyam Sundar, Adarsh Srivastav & Shashank Kumar IN 2012 the startup provides end-to-end services to farmers from the distribution of agri-products to giving them access to financial services. 

The startup has seen a 5 times growth in the last few months with serving more than 650k farmers across Bihar Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Odisha. The company has plans to reach 5 million farmers by the end of 2024. DeHaat has two startups under its name, first VezaMart and second is FarmGuide, both the startups work for farm management solutions and create information symmetry in agriculture through ICT and data analysis techniques.
